Responsibilities of the job centred about development of Gallagher’s proprietary security product, Command Centre. Worked closely with other developers on the team to meet development goals. Heavy focus on developing and monitoring testing automation; the most influential project in this area was a six-month project to create fully populated database backup files, facilitating testing and development with reliable data. Also worked on licensing solutions using RESTful protocols and developing inter-team and documentation around the area for use within and across teams.

Based in the careers department, working closely with specialist, school-orientated, database software (KAMAR). Manipulation, analysis, and presentation of internal data to evaluate trends within both the general student cohort and subgroups of interests; results were used to advise senior leadership of school. Development and implementation of administrative process regarding school leavers. Liaison between the two teams the role straddles (careers and administration). Documentation of processes the role was assigned to.

Summer Work 2015-2019, Full Time 2017-2018Contracted with the Fonterra Co-operative branch, working over several summers and one full time year on their data presentation portal. Work consisted of SQL query manipulation, user document compilation, and acting as a liaison between the project staff, internal IT staff and manufacturing staff. Quick adaptability to new technology; learnt basics of SQL on the job.
