My main role is to help ensure the RTO is compliant with all legislation including ASQA and industry standards. Also involves reviewing and updating policies, procedures, work processes, audit preparation, complaint resolution, data entry, extensive research and analysis, conducting and participating in validation sessions, manage risk through active involvement of regular internal audits to ensure services are delivered in line with ASQA and funding body regulations, assist in the preparation of and participate in external audits, work closely with management to develop and improve the quality of compliance frameworks also assist with other RTO administration or other duties where necessary.

Duties include, but not limited to:• Delivering/assessing units of competency in Diplomas of Business, Events and Hospitality Management • Developing training assessment strategies for the Diplomas in Business, Events and Hospitality, while consulting with industry • Preparing for, train and assess students via various modes of delivery• Contributing to and undertake administration procedures and quality assurance • Providing excellent good customer service • Assisting in assessment validations/moderations• Contributing to the strategic direction of the organisation• Complying with all WHS responsibilities• Complete and maintain a regular work plan• Assist with the compliance and legislated requirements of the Registered Training Organisation• Maintaining and contribute to RTO regulatory requirements• Attending and contribute to regular staff and other meetings as required• Providing support verbally and in writing for students and employers• Participating in professional development opportunities• Vocational Placement duties including student placement, securing MOU’s with organisations, development of logbooks, coaching to student and offering support to internal and external clients

To deliver high quality, timely, efficient and professional F&B service to all internal and external customers within the restaurants and catering outlets. Also to assist with the setup, service and supervision of Food & Beverage functions in accordance with event order requirements and client requests. Including:•Leading and managing staff to execute all facets of food and beverage service. •Liaising with clients, guests and visitors to the Centre.•Managing all aspects of customer service within assigned events .•Involvement from the operational planning stages of functions through setup, service, pack down and debriefing.•Managing and running events from anywhere between 10 pax to 3,000 pax sit down or several more thousand through retail trade / public exhibitions.•Computer and POS duties. •Training staff on barista, bar, service and Point of service (POS) protocols and procedures.•Barista duties.•Bar duties.•Organising and confirming bookings and orders requested by clients.•Involvement in all service aspects of a running restaurant and café.•Managing staff and staff levels. •Liaising with internal clients and departments to ensure that all clients needs are met within BCEC guidelines.•Developing and delivering of requisitions for food and beverage supplies and stock.•Identify training needs within the Restaurant and establish a training schedule in conjunction with Food & Beverage management and Human Resources and conduct staff training as required.•Maintain a cash float and ensure it is reconciled and cleared from the restaurant daily.•Report financial variances on all transactions and any food and beverage and service issues daily to the duty Banquet Floor Manager.•Provide and maintain a safe and healthy work environment for employees and visitors to the Centre.
