Chief Executive OfficerChannel Consulting Jan 2020 - PresentThere has never been a more challenging time to develop property. At Channel Consulting, we understand that bringing land development projects to market has become increasingly complex. As the housing sector grapples with unprecedented challenges, our firm is dedicated to guiding clients through the intricate landscape of real estate development. The rise in regulatory requirements and evolving policies has created significant roadblocks in the housing industry. We’ve witnessed firsthand how these challenges can transform a straightforward project into a prolonged and costly endeavor. From labyrinthine approvals and compliance measures to increased infrastructure costs, the regulatory environment has become more burdensome than ever before. These regulatory hurdles not only delay projects but also significantly impact financial viability. Extended approval periods mean developers must hold onto land and financing longer, leading to higher costs and increased exposure to market fluctuations. At Channel Consulting, we focus on our core strengths: development feasibility assessments and land use approvals. We review alternative business plans. We deliver thorough, efficient feasibility studies within just 30 days, backed by well-defined processes and deep expertise. Our role extends beyond mere assessments; we also facilitate smooth interactions with planning staff to secure necessary approvals and move projects forward. To meet the diverse needs of our clients—ranging from REITs and private developers to government agencies and non-profits—we collaborate with firms that offer complementary services, such as public engagement and design. This holistic approach ensures tailored solutions and supports our clients in achieving their objectives. -
