National Programme Manager with the United Nations Migration Agency (IOM Ireland) managing a number of programmes including the EU funded Displaced Talent For Europe (DT4E) and PROTECT funded by the Department of Justice since May 2022. From December 2022 to May 2023 served as Chief of Mission (Acting) with overall oversight and management of the office in Ireland. Previously more than 15 years’ experience working in national politics for an Oireachtas Member, the last four as political staff to the Minister of State at the Department of Justice and Equality (Minister for Equality, Immigration and Integration). Extensive experience in project management, people management, research management, policy development and advocacy, international affairs and labour mobility, national government and politics, political strategic communications including media and election strategy, policy and legislative research, community and stakeholder engagement.Academic achievements include a aster of Laws (LLM in Human Rights in Criminal Justice) receiving first class honours from University of Limerick. Areas of study included international law (human rights and criminal law), European law (ECHR and EU criminal law) and Irish law (criminal justice and policing and human rights). Completed a Bachelor of Laws (LLB (Hons) in Law) graduating from Griffith College Cork with first class honours. Also hold a 2.1 Bachelor of Arts (BA) in European Studies, Spanish and French from Trinity College Dublin
