Expanded the coverage of Veracodes vulnerability scanner to include mainstream Java development frameworks (such as struts, spring, hibernate). This included studying the data flow, life cycle, and configuration of the framework; identifying propagation paths; writing a test suite with the API to demonstrate vulnerabilities; condensing the research into digestible documentation for engineering and service depts.Other responsibilities: Conducting internal company presentations on my research and specific security vulnerabilities.

Analyzed the results of Veracodes vulnerability scanner and provided feedback to clients regarding complex flaws. Tracked and wrote test cases for false positives, false negatives and readability issues. Compiled and scanned a suite of open source applications with known vulnerabilities for baseline metrics. Java, C, C++ for Solaris and Windows. Worked with the service delivery team to devise a set of code analysis guidelines for training and maintaining consistency across the group.
