I am a current third year Computer Science major at Georgia Institute of Technology with concentrations in People and Media. I am interested in digital design and have skills in programming, project management, communication, and web development. On campus, I'm involved in Ethiopian-Eritrean Student Association, NSBE, GTCreatives and Gourd.I translate my passion for creativity outside of school by creating and selling art. I make both acrylic paintings and digital media and currently interested in learning animations. Additionally, I'm interested in youth education having worked as an assistant teacher both at Sunrise Learning Academy and CEISMC for the past two years.I look forward to pursuing my passions for digital design and education within my career. Ultimately, I plan to find ways to utilize my digital expertise to create a more inclusive user experience.
