Managed a Project Management Team that drove all NPI projects for the Easton Bell Sports Helmet Technology Center. The primary objectives of the Project Management team are to deliver products to the market on time, at cost and within scope of the product brief.  Create project schedules in MS Project and maintain them real-time, for over 40 active projects across all categories. Work collaboratively with the Asian factories to establish schedule buy-in. Develop and maintain a Three Year Product Development Report Card that details the status of all projects to the entire EBS executive staff. This report is issued on a monthly basis and provides a statistical performance rating for the Helmet Technology Center.  Develop design cycles for all product categories created by the Helmet Technology Center with the goal of establishing current baseline timelines and ultimately reducing the NPI cycle time. Formal Product Brief and Product Change Request (PCR) approval: Ensure that Marketing, Design and the Far East manufacturing teams are aligned on the Product Brief and PCR requirements. Establish and assign resource availability. Drive weekly project status meetings, Buy Ready Notification meetings and Manufacturing Readiness meetings with the Asian suppliers. Issue and track action items for all correspondence.  Initiate lead and maintain capital planning for the Helmet Technology Center’s annual tooling budget of $850k.  Work closely with worldwide stakeholders, in analyzing project delays, identifying the assignable causes and developing corrective action plans for getting projects back on track.

Successfully managed a team of Manufacturing Engineers (worldwide) as a product implementation team in a business that grew from $225 million to $341 million in six years. The Manufacturing Engineering Team managed over 50 projects, simultaneously, across all helmet categories with the objective of delivering clear, concise engineering designs and specifications to ensure that quality products were delivered on time and within the scope of the product brief.  Developed and maintained project schedules, in MS Project, for all NPI and Continuous Process Improvement projects supported by the Manufacturing Engineering Team.  Managed the on time release of technical drawings and CAD files for first article, unlimited buy and final production approval. All released files were maintained in Master Control under revision control.  Drove weekly project status meetings, individual project meetings and Manufacturing Readiness meetings for all projects supported by the Manufacturing Engineering Team. Assigned and tracked Manufacturing Engineering Resources and man hours dedicated to each project.  Effectively communicated project schedules, action items and delivery expectations with over 15 Factories in Asia and in Europe. Traveled extensively and worked at factories in Asia, Europe and Mexico to analyze and report yield performance and capacity requirements. Achieved goal of increased throughput and reduced overhead costs.  Effectively analyzed quality issues, developed and maintained corrective action plans within days of notification from the customer base.  Worked directly with Marketing, R&D and the Asia factories on an annual basis to establish continuous product improvement plans with the goal of maintaining quality but reducing product costs. Designed and implemented key processes, checklists and procedures to enable the U.S. Design team to interact effectively with the factories in Europe and Asia.

Presented the plan to the executive staff. Developed and maintained all manufacturing SOCs, SOPs and SQPs to ensure ISO-9000 compliance. Participated in all ISO-9000 Certification audits.

 Managed the transition of new products from the marketing concept through all phases of test qualifications into manufacturing readiness.  Interfaced with Marketing, Systems, Test Engineering, Operations and Process Engineering teams during all phases of product development.Business Systems Analyst  Set up and maintained routings for SanDisk’s MRP system in QAD by MFG Pro.  Developed Capacity Requirements (CRP) planning reports for the operations team out of QAD.  Implemented structural changes to the Oracle database using Agile to accommodate changes in the planning system.
