CurrentComedian
CurrentI have always had a heavy passion for comedy since I was younger. I became very involved in comedy at my university joining both an improv comedy troupe and a stand-up comedy troupe. The organizations prided themselves on offering free entertainment to the campus and community. This greatly improved my presentation skills as audiences would range from 30-700 people. It also greatly enhanced my quick thinking ability in high pressure situations considering improv is done without any preparation and in order to be successful you must utilize abilities to think on your feet.

Indosys Sales Coordinator (Sr. Partner Development Executive)
Responsible for identifying potential premium partners. Once identified I manage early stage discussions, and eventually introduce qualified app developers, online publishers, and merchants to our Product Development Executives.
Hawker
The role of a hawker at Gillette Stadium is to travel around the arena selling assorted foods and beverages to almost 70,000 people. Each hawker competes with several others selling the same items in the same sections. This forces a level of friendly competition, considering a majority of your pay is based on commission and tips. Through my years in the organization I have developed a mentality to close at any means necessary. I would average hundreds of dollars over average hawker total. This job also allowed me to develop skills dealing with unruly and unsatisfied customers. Through my time in the organization I also took in initiatives to bring in new talent and help train them once they arrived.
Student Admissions Representative
As a face of the university, I was responsible for giving 90-120 minute tours to highlight the campus and my personal experiences to groups ranging from 1-120 people. I was also responsible for speaking in student panels, answering phone calls and e-mails, and interacting with and entertaining guests. I took on an optional role of joining the hiring staff which entailed screening and interviewing prospective tour guides, and mentoring and training a prospective tour guide. During my time as a student admissions representative I was a member of the "Wall of Fame."
It Classroom Consultant
During my time as an IT consultant at my university I was responsible for advising students, patrons, faculty, and professors with possible solutions on any hardware or software issues that arose. The computer classrooms consisted of some of the best and most intricate technology provided on campus. The role also entailed enforcing classroom policies and procedures while also maintaining inventory and cleanliness within the classroom. I was a recipient of votes for Consultant of the Year.
Founder/President
When looking for a potential area of improvement for my university, I noticed that the reputation of the fraternity and sorority system was subpar in the eyes of the students, community, and the university. In attempts to give back to the university, I felt starting my own organization to begin a rectification of the process was the best route. I began to lead, organize, and strategize a project in hopes to better new students and the reputation of the university for generations. The organization has become a great success. In our first year of establishment we became the top ranked Scholastic, Philanthropic, and Recruitment fraternity on the campus. We also received national recognition for these accomplishments, as well as our campus involvement, and for being the first chapter in over 400 chapters to reach all designated Key Result Areas by the fraternity. More importantly the growth I have seen from some of the younger members of the organization has been the most rewarding part of the experience. This has helped me grow as well, improving upon my; leadership, marketing, recruiting, sales, financial, social, and organization skills.
American Sales & Marketing Organization Operations Group Intern
In my first full time job I moved to California to broaden my horizons and get a feel for a different cultural style within a fortune 50 company. I assumed the role of customer business analyst (generally full-time position) on the locals distributions team. This team was responsible for working with the some of the smaller organizations that Intel supplies. I was responsible for utilizing Salesforce.com and SAP to directly assist customers and internal representatives with inquiries and dilemmas. I was responsible for handling claims with logistics, supply availability, orders, product information, invoices, RMA, B2B, and supply chain. During my time at Intel I was actively involved in meetings and training sessions. This included speaking directly with managers, analyzing data, forecasting, and making presentations. In order to make a further impact on the organization I assumed the "Funzar" role for my team and for the interns. I was responsible for keeping the team happy and for planning events including a yearend social for hundreds of interns on site.
Head Marketing/Sales/Promotions Intern
The New Bedford Bay Sox is an organization designed to help develop talented collegiate players from all over the country with a Summer season of baseball to help prepare the athletes for the upcoming season. With a brand new owner, interns were heavily leaned upon for advice and opinions regarding all aspects of business. I was directly responsible for managing 6-7 game day promotional events for each home game. Due to difficulty obtaining sponsorships, I created events to help bring local business to the organization. These events were very successful and helped lead to higher attendance levels from previous years. I was involved in helping develop several sales campaigns and a list of over 80 local and corporate sales leads. I also assisted in the creation of an operations manuel for the organization.
Senator
I ran for and won a position to represent one of the largest precincts on campus in the SGA. The student body was responsible for several successful campaigns including the implementation of bike racks throughout campus, budgeting school funds to clubs and organizations, bettering communication with administration, implementing school spirit programs, and changing several flawed by-laws and university policies. I obtained experience dealing with claims and laws regarding: financial, judicial, involvement, executive, legislative, academic, and athletic disciplines. In addition to regular senate duties I served on the Administrative Affairs Committee, Student and Academic Affairs Committee, and Student Affairs and University Life Committee, which had direct impact with faculty and involved additional work with university bi-laws and funds.
Team Member
I was selected for a year-long professional business development program along with 50 other students. This program included significant one on one interactions with industry professionals and the further development of leadership, social, and financial skills. EXCEL also involved a case competition where twenty teams competed against each other pitching ideas for new campus businesses.
