Originally working as a Tax Consultant, I showcased resilience, flexibility and the ability to adapt and thrive in changing environments while managing the tax and claims process for a range of clients in the SME sector. I then ventured out on my own and started the firm Kumar Consulting. In this role, I have gained and utilised an expansive financial skillset while processing payroll, GST and Tax return reports as a contracted professional. I provide expert support and guidance to over 100 businesses in need of accounting and financial advice, play a key role in minimising the financial impact of Covid-19 on SME businesses and develop long-term mitigation strategies.This position requires accuracy, precision and attention-to-detail while preparing and filing tax returns, effectively identifying and mitigating risks and challenges and ensuring a seamless tax consultancy process. I have streamlined the tax filing process and increased the efficiency, ease of access and information retrieval process for all clients.

As a Customer Service Representative for ASB Bank, I excelled as a member of the cash processing team at the National Currency Processing Centre as well as in a supervisory capacity for 3 months.
