'Til your good is better and your better is best.”I am familiar with several aspects of management including industrial management and organization, total quality management and production management. These broad subjects were included as part of my curriculum and divulged a new face which was not just heavy machinery or the latest technology but planning and thus optimizing the resources. I uncovered a plethora of subjects like Industrial Engineering that introduced me to analyze the data statistically and interpretation of the data using different software. With an unending interest towards subjects like supply chain management, enterprise resource planning, and Logistics I want to pursue my career in the field of Industrial Engineering.In line with my area of interest, I was fortunate to be offered placement by a manufacturing giant in Mumbai. Getting an exposure to world-class manufacturing processes at the manufacturing company Godrej & Boyce, my interest in the field is incremented further. With introduction to systems like BAAN; TPM and its 8 pillars, the system of maintaining and improving the integrity of production and quality through different machines, types of equipment, processes and employees, KAIZEN; continuous improvement and the scope and potential of manufacturing processes my interest developed as I saw newer ideas of optimizing and producing efficacy in manufacturing.By dint of sheer hard work and after setting out a methodical approach, I have witnessed worthy results materializing over the years. Determination has accompanied sincerity in the desire to succeed.
