As a University Housing Desk Assistant during Fall 2023, I served as the front-line representative for residence hall front desks across multiple campuses, prioritizing resident safety and creating a welcoming atmosphere. Providing top-notch customer service to our diverse community, I ensured every interaction at the front desk was positive. My role, inclusive of the academic year and holiday breaks, involved routine tasks under direct supervision, teaching me essential skills in responsibility, teamwork, and effective communication. This experience was limited to 20 hours per week in accordance with University Housing policies, offering invaluable personal and professional growth.
