Solid understanding of common network services and protocol.Good knowledge on cyberattacks and their mitigations. Well-known knowledge on DNS and DHCP servers.Acquired knowledge on OSI Model, TCP connection, 3-way handshake process, cyber kill chain and some networking devices like Hub, Switch and Router.Working level knowledge on security solutions like Antivirus, Firewall, IPS, Email Gateway, Proxy, Threat Intelligence, VA Scanners like Tenable Nessus and WAF etc.Good knowledge on SIEM technology, Raw logs and hands on experience with Splunk tool by creating Alerts, Reports and Dashboards.Basic knowledge on skills like Malware Analysis, Phishing email analysis, Threat Hunting and Vulnerability Assessment.Exposure to using frameworks and compliances like MITRE ATT&CK, CIS Critical Controls, OWASP-10, ISO 27001 etc.Good understanding of various SOC processes like monitoring, analysis, playbooks, escalation, incident documentation, SLAs andclient meetings.Keeping updated with the latest developments in the cyber securitylandscape.I am looking for an opportunity to work as an SOC analyst L1 role.
