The Shop Supervisor manages the “Key Account” and oversees MINTEQ's day-to-day operations in the customer's shop. This includes supervising a work team, managing programs/tracking systems, and assisting in the trial and/or testing of new products. The Shop Supervisor is a key resource for addressing the customer's needs and communicating those needs throughout MINTEQ and obtaining support to meet the customer’s requirements. The Shop Supervisor is responsible for the profitability of the Key Account.Account Sales / Marketing Management :- Periodically interact with key people at customer’s place and understand needs. Maintain a strong focus on satisfying the customer.Manage profitability and control receivables; Achieve market share gains.Maintain a professional, high profile with the customer.Safety program management :- Follow all requirements of MINTEQ's safety programPromptly report, investigate and follow up all accidents and near-missesDevelop accident prevention plans, Participate in customer safety events.Maintenance of equipment and inventory management:- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules. Maintain all equipment in working order, with a clean appearanceEstablish and monitor schedules for gunning of materialsEnsure adequate records are maintained for all equipment and inventory levels (including spares )Ensures all materials inventories are maintained, rotated and updatedPerformance management and training :-Administer quarterly and annual performance reviews for direct reports in a timely and accurate manner.Implement training and development activities for employees, including new hires (direct reports).Ensure effective discipline and the recognition of employees. Communicate important information to employees; solicit ideas; implement quality initiatives.Develop weekly work schedules and stay within budgets / Document and explain variances.
