As a Data Engineer at udChalo, my responsibility revolves around architecting and managing our data infrastructure to ensure optimal accessibility, reliability, and performance. A significant milestone in my role has been the successful implementation of a robust data warehouse powered by Snowflake technology. This involved orchestrating the seamless migration of data from AWS DynamoDB and RDS into Snowflake, achieved through meticulously designed ETL processes using SQL & Python. Leveraging DBT (Data Build Tool) for data transformation and MWAA (Amazon Managed Workflow for Apache Airflow) for workflow orchestration, we streamlined the extraction, transformation, and loading of data, facilitating its transition into structured formats within Snowflake for analytical purposes. Also this project involved use of DynamoDB Streams & AWS Lambda.Furthermore, my role entails fostering synergies between Snowflake and AWS services, enabling seamless data integration and enhancing the organization's analytical capabilities. This integration not only ensures the efficient operation of our data warehouse but also empowers Business Team in the organization with actionable insights. Through my contributions, I strive to cultivate a data-driven culture at udChalo, where informed decision-making is supported by a robust and scalable data infrastructure.
