I am a second-year undergraduate student at Boston University working towards a dual degree Bachelor of Science in Finance and Bachelor of Science in Statistics. My goal is to initially pursue a career in quantitative roles, sports analytics, and fields that operate at the intersection of statistics and finance, problem solving, and researchIn my short time at Boston University so far, I have already engaged in various roles. I especially act as a data analyst for BU's Women's Soccer Team, helping them to make data-based decisions in their day-to-day routine, including training and matches. This resulted in a direct 40% increase in their win percentage during Fall 2024 and winning the Patriot League Championship. I am also advancing research in the sports analytics field through my research at the Questrom School of Business, building a stochastic model that can quantify both tangible and intangible variables to determine transfer success probability. My startup, NevroAI, Inc., has been accepted to Boston University Built Lab's Innovation Pathway Program. We aim to use AI imaging tools in the medical industry in geographical regions where the strength of AI is underutilized. I am also part of the quantitative group at the BU Finance Club, actively finding strategies to use statistics to achieve higher portfolio returns while applying hedging strategy techniques.This past summer, I interned for a VC firm that invests in small to medium size companies.
