As a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Bioinformatics and Systems Biology Lab in the Bioengineering Department at UCSD, I work on the following:– Studied Hierarchiacal Modularity in Evolution and Function by building robust and complete algorithmic pipelines to investigate implications of domain-based analysis on identification of disease markers, intervention, and experimentation. – Formulated a systems biology approach to study developmental state transitions in embryonic stem cells, involving the extensive study the time series data, identifying OTX2 as a key player in inducing neural induction– Extended analytical and algorithmic infrastructure to community detection techniques for efficient automation of Enrichment studies– Built an end-to-end pipeline to study RNASeq and WGS data (NGS) of Hepatoblastoma and Biliary Atresia patients and Mouse samples, through computational techniques like Clustering Gene Expression data from normal and Liver cancer subjects.– Performed integrative analysis using genes harboring single nucleotide variants (SNVs), genes with copy number variants (CNVs) and differentially expressed (DE) genes from genotype data.

As a Research Scientist at SkyHigh Networks, I was involved in projects related to Big Data, and Data Mining, as applied to the domain of Security Intelligence. My work required writing APIs to extensively look up Geo ID – location mapping for customer look ups from the portal.
