The Placebo Effect is a phenomenon that has been causing a serious problem in clinical trials in various different therapeutic areas, and the placebo response has been on the rise in recent years.During my internship at J&J, I created a meta-analysis study from external data and provided internal data that will allow the rheumatology team to curb the rise of the placebo response. From the data gathered, I developed different hypotheses for the placebo response and created actionable tasks to be implemented in the future.
