My most recent experience was at Mavrx Inc. in San Francisco where I was the Product Manager of the internal flight management system (FOCS), which allows (i) the business to monitor and manage operations across 75+ airports; (ii) a user to create, approve and manage upcoming flights; and (iii) the business to track operational costs. Whilst at MoneyKey in Toronto, the company experienced triple digit growth. Apart from re-engineering and streamlining a number of business processes, I worked with a tight team to plan and execute the development of the Analytics and Reporting Department, which involved provisioning new servers, setting up a data warehouse, integrating new data sources, rolling out SaaS reporting software and building a reporting framework using java and MySQL to support various business processes. During my undergraduate degree, I studied Applied Mathematics and Economics at the University of Cape Town finishing top of my class. I hold an MSc in Applied Mathematics from the University of Cape Town where I specialized in theoretical physics and an MPhil in Finance from the University of Cambridge where I specialized in quantitative research methods. I am passionate about innovating, problem solving, data and analytics. In my spare time, I enjoy the outdoors; being an avid surfer, sailor and mountaineer.
