During the course of this Internship, we were taught from the basics of Cybersecurity. I was able to learn about various topics like Information Security Concepts, Security Management Practices, Social Engineering, Cryptography, etc. We were given a minor and major project where the minor project was about SQL injection and the major project was about exploring the security of e-mail, disposable email accounts and use a secure email. We had to identify security issues related to common email systems by using a disposable, temporary email system and apply principles of secure email through the PGP email system.
