• Responsible for developing the proposed DTM and cross sections for the SR-9/I-95 and Spanish River Blvd. Interchange Design Build project (4 miles of SR 9, Yamato Road and 14 ramps) using 3D Corridor Modeling tool. Also,assisted in developing the horizontal and vertical alignment for all the ramps. • Responsible for developing roadway and S&P marking plans, design exceptions and variations, MOT, responses for phase review comments, calculate earthwork and coordination with subs and FDOT.• Assisted Project Managers in calculating quantities and preparation of proposal plans and alternative technical concepts (ATCs) for several designs build project advertisements.

• Responsible for development of Roadway, Signing and Lighting plans for FDOT District-4 and District -6 projects• Preparation of pavement design package, typical section package, exception/variation, roadway plans, traffic control plans, SWPPP's, signing & pavement marking plans, signalization plans, Long Range Estimates (LRE), summary of quantities and computation book.

• Assessment of data availability and required resources to develop the transportation-land use model for Hillsborough County, FL using UrbanSim simulation system on a GIS framework. Currently, working on the data processing for model development and implementation (NCTR Project) • Prepared a technical report on the motorcycle crash analysis for the top ten counties and Wakulla county in Florida• Performed motorcycle crash analysis and prepared a technical paper on measuring the use of personal protective equipments by motorcycle riders for Florida• Developed joint tour-based work travel mode choice (walk, bike, drive alone, share ride and transit) and stop making propensity model for adult workers (age > 16) using activity based models

Research Project on Transit Boardings Estimation and Simulation Tool (TBEST) • Coded Jacksonville Transit Authority (JTA) network using GIS framework and analyzed APC data to validate the TBEST model• Prepared a technical memorandum on the treatment of special generators in travel/transit modeling and investigated alternative strategies for the enhancement of the predictive capability of TBEST • Developed parcel land use based trip rates from ITE Trip Generation Manual and performed impact studyTraffic Engineering Projects• Performed simulation and traffic signal time optimization (isolated intersection and coordination optimization) of a US 301 corridor in Florida using Synchro and TRANSYT-7F• Performed simulation, capacity analysis, traffic signal timing analysis and optimization of a traffic network in Florida using HCS and TSIS-CORSIMCrash Analysis • Analyzed the influence of various roadway, environmental, and driver characteristics on the injury severity of drivers involved in two-vehicle accidents using data from 2007 Generalized Estimates System and estimated an econometric model to account for endogeneity in crash injury severity models• Geographical information systems (ArcGIS) aided crash analysis to identify high-crash locations and study the need for an emergency response agency near the critical locations in Hillsborough County, FL Data Collection Experience• Organized and performed on-board transit survey on Hillsborough Area Transit Authority (HARTline) bus route in Florida.
