I started my career with intermediate scale protein purification and purity assessment. I moved to ion channel lab where I was trained on patch clamp which delivered an ECN, for which I earned intra-institutional award. After transitioning to in vitro cardiovascular lab, I learnt high throughput drug screening and started to develop assays for the newly set up lab, where I independently developed assays for Ca2+ imaging, bioenergetics and image-based hypertrophy assay with iPS cardiomyocytes. Developed an ex vivo assay to isolate and characterize murine cardiomyocytes. I contributed to profile cytokines from PBMC derived macrophages and fibroblast and established Ca2+ flux assays, both contributing to early target validation. During my role in BBRC, I was responsible for compound prioritization and data communication with stakeholders. I have good communication, presentation, data scrutiny, data management and adaptation to changing therapeutic area skills.
