I have been successful at building relationships with suppliers that are mutually beneficial and create opportunities for growth both for my organization and suppliers. Understanding supplier's strengths and their potential as well as the needs of the organization and aligning them through clear and mutual understanding has led to my success. Procurement and Supply Chain impacts many departments and can become a valuable resource for Operations, Marketing, R&D, Logistics, Inventory, Accounting, Engineering, Maintenance, and Quality. My accomplishments in Procurement include achieving goals in cost savings, negotiating supply agreements, and keeping inventory at the right levels, but also ensuring that the supply chain team supports cross-functional organizational goals.
