After his Bachelor study Ruud started as an mechanical engineer by Van Boekhoven & Bosch, responsible for the mapping of machine changeovers reducing the non-productivity time, followed by his military service.His professional career started as a junior component sales engineer by Van Vloten, a sales organization in powder handling equipment. One and a half year later he was asked by the Swiss Gericke starting as a component sales engineer and growing to project sales executive and key account management.Gericke is one of the world leading companies supplying powder handling and processing equipment and systems. Ruud believes every project or relation starts with the involvement and enthusiasm of the people involved. Satisfaction is reached when the objective is clear, reachable and the communication optimal.In his spare time he loves to visit places with his family learn about and photograph recent European history. As a sport he weekly rows, runs or plays squash.As, over the years IT technology developed Ruud has specialized in the corporate use in this field. Not only for office but also CRM applications and the challenge IT provides by giving the opportunity to work from home. Ruud believes this will open the future for a flexible workforce and a transparent employers. Today his main goal is to inform his contacts about the possibilities his employer Gericke has to optimize their powder processes.
