• Oversee all fundraising at Mekong NYC, a social justice organization that brings dignity and value to the lives of Southeast Asians in the Bronx and throughout New York City• Write grant proposals for foundations, government agencies, and corporations; fulfill contracts; conduct research on prospective funding; plan special events and fundraising campaigns; cultivate and sustain relationships with donors; and maintain donor database • Work closely with Deputy Director, Executive Director, and Board of Directors to maintain progress of organization’s strategic plan, fundraising strategies, and annual budget

• Manage membership enrollment, contact, recruitment, newsletters, and programming at Wendy’s Subway, a nonprofit reading room, writing space, and independent publisher • Coordinate bi-weekly writing night program for the public, including developing writing prompts and inviting guest facilitators• Support Artistic Director with grant writing, contract fulfillment, annual budget, and donor outreach

• Provide direct services to street homeless individuals and offer assistance with housing, health care, and other social services• Communicate with a client caseload of 30 already known to the program; assist in case management support with other social workers and escort clients when needed

• Collaborate with Development Coordinator on completing grants for program funding• Manage outreach via targeted mailings, phone calls, and emails to institutions above and major donors, as well as restorative and transformative justice organizational partners• Attend public-facing political education sessions; facilitate an internal session about George Jackson, abolitionism, and Black August
