A.S.Main Job Functions• Managing the procurement and deciding on suppliers depending on price, quality and after-sales support affairs.• Managing and checking new suppliers and updating prices.• Visiting or welcoming suppliers to negotiate price and payment terms or their range.• Managing all L/C processes by coordinating with banks, suppliers, and clients.• Liaise with the client to collect payment documents for submission to the L/C bank.• Ensure that the company in Qatar meets the minimum requirements for importing materials and equipment, thus facilitating smooth logistics operations.• Negotiate cost-effective freight rates and contracts with service providers such as shipping lines and freight forwarders, to ensure maximum profitability.• Check the shipment documents to ensure that they comply with the minimum requirements set by customs.• Participating in supplier meetings to analyze and determine our minimum requirements in terms of logistics and procurement. • Checking the drafts of contracts to state our logistical financial approach and requirements.
