As a result, “role impact” surveys have strongly increased from 59% to 83% favourable.- Owner of the SRE engineering ladder, working out competencies, participating in compensation band reviews, improving interview process, etc.Trusted engineering advisor for the organisation and key decision maker on infrastructure:- Devised, Implemented and Landed migration to ARM, reducing compute costs by >20% while increasing performance.- Made, owned and communicated the tough call to drop a large failing infrastructure investment that was pending for years.- Participating in engineering reviews for evaluating and adopting new strategies and tech, e.g. Confluent, Temporal, Kubernetes, etc.Led the infrastructure side of achieving and maintaining SOC2 Type 2 compliance process - owned 26 controls and delivered ahead of time, uplifting necessary systems and processes, including Disaster Recovery, Vulnerability management, Encryption, Access, Inventory, etc.
