About Temitope Ajileye

A graduate in Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Oxford motivated by innovation and the thrill of conceptual discovery. Through Doctoral research in the world of information systems, I am skilled at developing algorithms for automated reasoning in distributed knowledge bases. These are important for low-level technical requirements e.g. performance and capacity of databases as well as high-level considerations for the reliability and provenance of knowledge. Following the PhD, I stated a research role at Exscientia, where I led a team building a system for decision capture and support. I am excited about further applications of this research as well as questions of ethics, data democratisation and reliability, and inventive software in a world increasingly shaped by the algorithms and their innate opportunities and dangers for society.
