I am a Strategic Finance professional, Agricultural Innovator & Entrepreneur (Agritech), Vulnerability Coach, Trainer and Speaker.Having undergone a Big 4 training programme in my early career, I have become an Accounting and Corporate Finance professional with nearly 20 years’ experience, holding progressively Senior Finance and also Project Manager roles in multiple sectors, namely shipping, freight, logistics and supply-chain, manufacturing, management consulting, mining and FMCG sectors.Coupling my commercial background and entrepreneurial instincts, I co-founded a multiple award-winning agritech startup called Kuronga, where we are developing A.I. to help smallholder farmers in Africa improve their on-farm grading, and market access.In my experience as a Project Manager, I have become highly adept at using Agile methodologies to drive product development, change management and business transformation, most significantly with various SAP system transitions and optimisation projects.Throughout my career in Senior Finance, my responsibilities have involved financial reporting and analysis, system and product development for internal clients, designing and streamlining financial reporting structures, financial management, project management, optimising tax structure, and building and developing teams to effectively execute the Finance function.I am also competent trainer and facilitator, providing practical coaching that helps organisations and individuals embrace change and vulnerability in leadership.I hold a Bachelor of Accounting Science (BCompt) from the University of South Africa and an MBA from Hult International Business School. I speak English, French, Shona and Zulu, and have professional proficiency in Portuguese and basic Mandarin.I love to travel, to meet new people and learn new cultures, and I always take my travel experiences as learning opportunities in terms of how to meaningfully and collaboratively engage and partner with people from diverse backgrounds; a philosophy which I also incorporate into my professional life.
