Role Responsibilities;• Accurately select orders, stack and wrap pallets or other required ULD’s (Unit Load Devices).• Adhere to and apply general safety rules of the distribution centre at all times, ensuring safe lifting techniques are being used at all times.• Stack cartons and pallets safely and without damage, applying the Pallet and Tote Stacking and Roll Cage Stacking rules.• Ensure the stability of the Pallet or other ULD by the effective and efficient use of shrink-wrap when packing pallets.• Adhere to all company policies and procedures at all times.• Ensure safety shoes, vests and all protective equipment are worn at all times.• Identify and report any safety breaches/hazards, near misses, incidents, accidents or Warehouse problems to the Team Leader or Manager immediately.• Work in a team and contribute to achievement of targets and quality standards.• Maintain hygiene standards at all times and wearing of issued uniforms and hold a strong awareness of appropriate hygiene and cleaning standards.• Ensure area is kept clean, tidy and hygienic at all times.• Apply knowledge of safe handling, storage and labelling of products.• Perform visual quality checks on all products.• Removing products, machine attachments, and waste material from machines.• Stacking and storing pallets at the end of the shift to keep the warehouse clean and organized.• Worked rigorously and efficiently to ensure that production stayed over-rate and made incentive on several jobs for both quality and quantity.
