I love helping Product & Engineering teams to DELIVER OUTCOMES 🎯 through 🤝 open leadership, 🌊 focusing on flow and working small 🐜♻️I started my career as a software engineer, then delivered software solutions as a consultant/architect/manager, before spending time in pre-sales engineering and sales. I have now come full circle to return to engineering and building products. My passion has always been about combining my love of technology with my people skills to deliver outcomes for the business.More about me:🛠️ I love to build great teams and products.⚙️ I’m an engineer and a product person, and I’ve also worked in sales.🏍️ A buddy and I went on a bike trip from London to Cape Town, but after three years, we never made it there!🌱 Instead, we started Limbe Labs, one of Cameroon’s first startup incubators that helped founders with seed funding and mentoring.💡 Likewise, I helped build Red Hat’s Open Innovation Labs.🏢 Furthermore, I have held various tech leadership roles, including CTO and Chief Product and Technology Officer.🌏 Finally, I have led distributed and multicultural organisations of over one hundred people.

Senior Director Of EngineeringDashlane Jun 2022 - Mar 2024New York, New York, UsI led all engineering teams at Dashlane, with ~120 engineers. Together we built Dashlane's Android app, iOS app, browser extension, web app, and the dashlane.com website.Highlights:- Transformation from “Water-Scrum-Fall” delivery toward incremental outcome-focused delivery. More than doubled the velocity and business impact of the Engineering team.- Led a re-org of all teams with two major changes. Product teams went from a "matrix" of different functions to being true cross-functional teams. Second engineering managers were made responsible for delivery. This transformation was achieved while improving engagement with zero attrition. As part of this, we transformed the former platform-oriented teams into guilds, fostering collaboration around technology platforms.- Provided guidance and coaching for managers transitioning to delivery-focused roles.- Elevated standards for senior managers, defining clear roles and driving greater accountability.- Implemented performance management initiatives, reducing headcount by 20% through turnover and managing low performers.- Introduced the "Lean Coffee" meeting format, promoting inclusivity and adoption across teams.- Improved efficiency with the Web Platform exiting a "code red" state and optimizing CI stability and release time.- Increased productivity and velocity. While we are operating with fewer people overall in Engineering, due to managed attrition, we are moving significantly faster and shipping more than we were when I started at Dashlane. From 200 MRs per month to 354 MRs in 9 months.- Established alignment between teams and company strategy, implementing clear roadmaps and a standardized delivery process.- Visualised the work of all teams, the exec team were able to see all WIP on one page for the first time.- Fostered and encouraged innovation with first-to-market releases (first password manager to ship passkey support) and successful initiatives, such as the adoption of confidential computing. -

I had to reduce our costs significantly. For example, we reduced the cost of translation by 80% and we removed one FTE dedicated to managing translations.- I owned security and compliance at OCUS. As part of this, I reduced our exposure to security vulnerabilities. In addition, I helped meet our contractual agreements on security and privacy.- I was responsible for IT at OCUS: - I automated risky processes such as offboarding, - I standardised how we procured and managed laptops. - I supported other departments with their tools, such as choosing a new HRIS.- I helped other departments solve their business issues.
