I'm now on my final stretch of my Linux System Administrator education. Two more courses to go, Programming and Web Server Administration, and then I'm all done.

This was my second of three expected periods as an intern at Bwin Games. I'd been assigned to the B2C section of Internal Operations, which meant a lot of work with Apache webserver configuration and administration, deployment of website code, and some troubleshooting.

This was the first of three expected (at the time of writing) stints as a Linus System Administrator intern at Bwin games. The first half of it was spent on helping out with various smaller tasks, such as doing an inventory of the in-house web servers. For the second half me and a colleague/fellow student got assigned to research and set up a syslog server/client solution for our test environment. This solution was later rolled out live.
