Tim is a founder, advisor, and attorney focusing on disruptive technologies.He advises emerging and venture-backed companies across a range of industries and has a particular interest in AI/ML and blockchain applications. Tim's background allows him to understand the technologies, innovations, underlying sciences, and business case in every matter. In addition, his clients benefit from his ability to explain complex systems in a concise and understandable manner.During law school, Tim served as Executive Articles Editor of the University of Utah Law Review while authoring and publishing two peer-reviewed legal articles. As a student, he was awarded a fellowship from the Center for Law and Biosciences, he received a scholarship for his work assisting in the commercialization of new technologies, and he completed judicial externships in the United States District Court for the District of Utah and the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Utah.Tim enjoys speaking and writing about trends in emerging technology and the legal issues they present. He has spoken and moderated panels at events focused on blockchain technology, NFTs, cryptocurrencies, fintech, artificial intelligence, and machine learning, including events hosted by Silicon Slopes and the University of Utah.When not at work, Tim loves to travel and enjoys playing tennis, hiking, and skiing in the beautiful Utah mountains.
