About Tenna Hamdrup

Throughout my career, I have noticed that I am extremely organised and love structuring. This has come to great use in the many projects I have been in charge of. I define myself as an effective Project Manager with experience from the travel industry, successful B2B events and marketing campaigns between a number of different partners.Whether it is a well-written novel or the beauties of a foreign language, I have always been passionate about communication. This is one of the main reasons behind my educational background and the line of work I have chosen. I hold a Master’s degree in French and International Business Communication, where I not only have learned the language at a professional level but also got to experience the many uses of the communication field within different aspects of commerce.Landing my first full-time job for The French Tourism Development Agency, Atout France, I got the perfect introduction to the inner wheels running the travel industry. As the one responsible for bringing together the French suppliers with the Nordic/Baltic buyers, I developed a large network within the industry working with hotels, destinations, attractions, tour operators, airports, and airlines.When the opportunity arose I made the move from a government-run organisation to an actual travel provider, Langley Hotels & Resorts (Scandinavian tour and hotel operator). In this job, my educational tools within communication were used in combining sales and marketing. The size and structure of the company also allowed me to work with the more operational parts of the company.After a covid-19 break/maternity leave, I took the lead with the brand UCPA Danmark. An great opportunity to continue to use of my French language skills and get to develop a brand. It was somewhat a one-woman-show: I planned the marketing activities, had ongoing contact with UCPA France, customer service, organized transportation, updated website content and handled large groups.In my current position I took on a new role within a tour operatoer as Production and Purchase Manager for Skinetworks focusing on our Italian destinations. Not only a complete new role but also a new language. From the summer 2023 I have started taking Italian lessons to add an extra language to my skills - but most importantly to get closer with my Italian partners!
