I graduated from the University of Vermont with a BA in Philosophy and minors in Ancient Greek and Latin Language and Literature. I pride myself on my curiosity, quick learning ability, and critical thinking & analytical skills.I currently work as a Paralegal at Dinse, P.C., a law firm in Burlington, VT, in our immigration practice group. My work primarily focuses on business immigration, preparing a variety of petitions such as H-1B, H-2B, O-1, L-1, E-2, EB-1, EB-2/National Interest Waiver, and more. In this role I leverage my critical thinking, research, and analytical skills, as well as writing, attention to detail, and organization, to manage cases, communicate with clients, and draft immigration forms and letters of support for our clients. I work with a wide range of clients including universities, small businesses, large corporations, and individuals. I also assist our Accounting and Operations departments with A/P, A/R, and finances.My ultimate goal is to apply my skills and background in language, law, and philosophy in order to foster a more ethical and just society. I am especially interested in the intersection of tech/AI and ethics, and plan to pursue further education in these fields.Outside of work you can find me playing music, wandering through the woods, or curled up with my cat and Kindle.
