Tejas designs and develops globally deployable optical and data networking products across all parts of the network – access, metro, and core.• Set up the Program management systems & processes for the products with CM’s in line with the Tejas manufacturing process Model to achieve customer satisfaction.• Drive and ensure that the CM’s loads the Tejas demand in their MRP systems and timely release of Purchase orders on suppliers for parts.• Achieve the highest levels of delivery performance for Cards, sub-assemblies, and products from CM’s• Handle multiple CM’s parallelly for various products• Effectively managed the Program management function as per the business processes to meet and exceed the customer requirements.• Establish and manage a highly professional and strategic relationship approach with CM’s for a consistent and seamless supply of products and services.• Held Quarterly Business review meetings with CM’s to monitor their performance & KPIs• MIS / Reporting, Communication within SCM team, Service Team, Design & Production teams, and also generate Weekly, and Monthly reports like CM’s delivery performance, Yield, CTB / Shortages forecast accuracy. RMA, Excess & Obsolete Inventory, and Contract manufacturer monitoring related reports in line with TL9000• Measuring, Monitoring & Improving the Contract manufacturer’s performance on Q-C-D.• Timely and systematic closure of the Contract manufacturer’s greeneries, like E&O, Price variances, shortages• Initiate and monitor cost reduction drive with contract manufacturers to achieve YoY cost reduction• Manage the Account Receivable and Account Payable of the CM’s

• Develop and maintain a business relationship; Maximize customer satisfaction. Manage the relationship with the customer through monthly or quarterly reviews, or as needed, to communicate deliveries• Handled global customer accounts in different time zones.• Coordinates with the CFT the actions necessary for compliance with the targets agreed with the customer (quality, testing, materials, processes, etc.)• Collection of excess and obsolete (E&O) and variations to the agreed purchase price (PPV) with the information received from materials.• Coordinate problem solving and escalates challenges encountered on the program that affect the P&L for the organization to meet financial commitments, accountable for the financial performance of the account, and address any gaps to assure quote alignment.• Participate in continuous improvement projects to increase profitability. (Operations & Materials)• Monitors the actions generated by the opportunities or needs of the project to comply with the customer metrics and/or internal objectives• Responsible for leading the NPI, Product & Test team to achieve the job target;• Approve and maintain engineering documents, including BOM, ECN, DN, QPL, part drawing etc;• Support Purchasing department & QA for supplier selection.• Take leadership in resolving technical issues during NPI and handover for mass production• Responsible to review the PCB Gerber’s, DFM, and DFT on new products and also reviewing the basic Quality tools & 8D functional analysis• Responsible for APQP, PFMEA of the process, Design Line layout, and Effective monitoring and implementation.

In my role, I am responsible for :• Activity planning and execution monitoring of Failure-Analysis and Production teams comprised of 35 employees.• Prepare periodic reports and conduct meetings together with cross functional teams for initiating corrective & preventive actions for arresting failures in products.• Facilitate professional development of team members through multi skill programs, training needs identification, succession planning, etc.• Support Product Quality improvement by root cause analysis, containment actions and implementation of short term / long term corrective measures.• Responsible for production capacity allocation, utilization and ramp-up, while ensuring product and process quality.

• Leading Failure Analysis team for debugging & testing of RF Products such as NOKIA TRX Units, ERICSSON GSM Base station Transceiver units(DRU & DTRU), Wi-Max Modems, GSM and CDMA Mobile Phones, Fixed wireless phones.• Troubleshoot, Analyze, Repair the PCB’s and units failed in the Manufacturing Process & Field.• Active participation in product transitions, discussions and ensuring that all Electrical/ Electronic parts-related issues affecting product transitions are resolved prior release to manufacturing

• Involved in commissioning exclusive repair lines for LG FWT Products in Bangalore Plant.• Provided technical support for servicing GSM & CDMA mobiles and FWT Boards.• Provided training for Service Technicians & Operators in new Products & technologies.
