Been in the maritime industry for 10 years and still counting. As Administration Officer in-charge in the processing of contracts of our seafarers, accreditation of our foreign vessels and registration of seafarers wages in POEA. In my early years of service in the company, i also served as recruitment officer who is in-charge in the recruitment process of every applicant who are applying for a certain position in our manned vessels. Also assigned as Asst. Fleet Personnel Officer who is in-charge in all documentations of our seafarers before joining the vessel (including flagstate application). This experience is really amazing and give me the knowledge that i can treasure to the rest of my life. My hard work, patience and being a team player helps me a lot to survive in this kind of industry for years. And learning is a continuous process that should not be taken for granted in maritime industry....the more you learn, the better opportunity you can have.
