I handle all the computational analysis in the Mäkinen Lab. I mainly work with single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNASeq) and bulk RNA sequencing (bulk RNASeq) data using R and Python. I collaborate closely with wet-lab scientists, supporting their research with comprehensive data analysis and visualization.

Design and implementation of a machine-learning-based method for smoking status classification using EPIC methylation array data.

Development of a fully-automated cell-type calling tool for processing single-cell multiplexed imaging and cytometry data. The method is using unsupervised learning and external knowledge for the final annotation.
