I worked at the "Meridian Hotel" during the summer of 2022 and 2023 and I can truthfully say that this job developed me personally and professionally. I learned a lot about how a business works, and the relationships you must establish with the clients, other employees, and suppliers. As a receptionist I had several duties, from check-ins and check-outs to making transactions, answering emails, and welcoming customers, all of this enhancing my communication and organizational skills. This job has further enhanced my ability to communicate and connect with people from a wide range of cultural backgrounds, allowing me to better understand and appreciate their diverse viewpoints and experiences.

As a member, I carried out many projects: Book Fair, Halloween activities for younger children, the winter and freshman ball, an art auction, and an avant-garde fashion show.

In October, I took part in the "WE CAN" Erasmus+ project in London, which focused on the art of writing Erasmus+ proposals and accessing European funding. Immersing myself in a multicultural and unfamiliar environment was a transformative experience. I also gained valuable skills in teamwork, collaborating with individuals from various countries including Spain, North Macedonia, Bulgaria, and Turkey, which highlighted the importance of effective communication. However, the most significant takeaway from this experience was learning how to confidently present and defend my ideas in front of an audience.
