• Develop yearly SWOT analysis of the company to assist in the development of a strategic plan for the future of the business• Keeping up to date with economic and business developments, market customer trends & competition in the market• Prepare the annual marketing plan and become fully committed to the targets planned thereafter• Meet designated financial revenue and profitability targets• Identifying each collateral required for all promotions, liaising with collateral designers for a suitable artwork & ensuring that all are as per the brand standards • Planning and coordinating with Digital Marketing in charge all on line activities• Managing and ensuring effective use of the WAFI Restaurants database, Pharaohs’ fitness club and Cleopatra’s Spa databases• Making and keeping a good relation with the editorial team of relevant media – writing and sending monthly press releases to ensure constant coverage • Conduct extensive market research and continue gathering information from customers• Develop sponsorship links with appropriate companies, coordinate and keep good relation with existing ones• Plan, organize and manage events (with the capacity of 1000 people) • Preparing and mass mail HTML files to existing data base• Organize and coordinate with radio and press on all marketing campaigns• Writing all radio spots and coordinating with external companies on creating the ad for the campaign• Coordinate and send proposals for outside catering events as well as private events within the venues, make sure to maximize profit while satisfying guest needs• Handle travel agents requirements and tour operator groups• Seek and organize appropriate PR events, charity events etc• Maintain proper flow of information within the complex, coordinate with all department heads• Manage a small team and make sure the smooth operation of the department• Continuously seeks to endeavor and improve the department’s efficient operation and profitability
