As POC cultural influences become better understood and recognized worldwide, so should then their positive representation in the iconic realm of art and film. Both in front of and behind the camera.  TEO has endeavored to further push this ideal toward fruition. His believing film expression has become as important to societal structure as breath to life. That its unique ability to bridge gaps and shades of race, culture, faith, thought, fear and prejudice should be given every opportunity to reach its full potential, Cool Room Entertainment (CRE) was founded in 2003.TEO is an award-winning, Washington, DC-based filmmaker & performer whose versatile efforts have spanned the last 25+ years. He started as a songwriter, producer, and artist with a number of local up-and-coming bands before relocating to Los Angeles to further pursue this and other showbiz interests where he almost immediately landed national modeling, commercial, and voice-over campaigns for the likes of Newport Cigarettes, Nike, Coca Cola, and Budweiser, respectively.Sci-Fi movie fans know him best as Corporal Bronksi from director Paul Verhoeven's cult classic, 'Starship Troopers', the DJ from 'Barb Wire' (starring Pamela Anderson), or the episodes of Star Trek: TNG where he played a Klingon. While other fans remember him from 'Showgirls' (another Verhoeven cult hit) where he menaced as one of Carver's bodyguards. He shared the silver screen opposite David Duchovny and Timothy Hutton in 'Playing God' and 'opposite Kristy Swanson in 'Supreme Sanction' as well as appeared in television shows, Unsolved Mysteries, Married With Children and Coach, to name a few.As a writer, TEO's first two professional jobs were as a freelance sketch writer on Comedy Central's 'Comic Justice' as well as lead writer on ESPN2's 'Jam Central'. The latter of which he also served as the Voice-over host. He has gone on to be a script consultant and "polisher" in the indie film world.He has gone on to appear in, produce and/or write & direct a number of music videos and short films of which have premiered in the likes of the Los Angeles Film Festival, ‘HBO's Project Greenlight' and BETJ's ‘Best Shorts' programs. In 2021 he launched Cool Room TV, a commercial-free, personal-viewer streaming platform that features full-length films, shorts, tv shows, and animation for mature audiences to enjoy that positively showcases cultures of color, in front of and/or behind the camera.
