Mobile Application Coe LeadThe Boston Consulting Group (Bcg) 2016 - 2018London, United KingdomI built a new team in BCG that is responsible for mobile app and platform architecture, development governance and established best practice guidelines. The cloud based mobile platform we built has enterprise grade security and reliability. It is now forming the basis for a number of BCG projects, both mobile and web.My team supported the launch of over 40 internal mobile apps including SWIFT, ReAct native and Ionic iOS apps, Android apps and mobile websites. We also migrated approx 50 apps to a web-based CD pipeline for better control and security. -
Head Of Mobile HubTui 2015 - 2016London, United KingdomInitially working as a consultant, I was responsible for the delivery of the TUI Digital Assistant mobile and tablets apps for all TUI international businesses on both Apple and Android devices.The TUI apps are built on a sophisticated architectural framework which is needed to facilitate separate app builds (with different functionality) for each market. This is complicated by the unique underlying platform in each of the international businesses - necessitating a middleware abstraction layer which I also managed. Defined delivery process. The platform was developed in Java (using Couchbase and MySQL) with full automated test coverage. Clients developed in Angular and Swift. Games were developed in JavaScript. Load and security testing was deeply integrated into the delivery process. Great staff retention in a tough market.

We set up our own studio to broadcast 50 hours / day of live shows based on this platform for customers including ITV. I built the infrastructure to launch 2 interactive betting channels on the Virgin Media platform, delivered the front end applications and managed the daily operation.
