Teppo is co-founder and Principal Designer at Nordkapp, the leading design agency in Finland.Nordkapp is a strategy & design advisory for the post-normal era. By combining foresight, business thinking and design we help leading companies to clarify focus, establish strategies and change towards a more sustainable future.Teppo has been building internet, multimedia and mobile services since 1997, first more on the technical side, then later in design. He's done everything from engineering a startup e-commerce product to various early days digimedia agency work, from backend solutions to rich & interactive social sites before there was social media, and everything from mobile power plant maintenance system to DJ software, and anything from Video-on-Demand to healthcare and banking. Most recent projects have been related to augmented reality and helping people in developing countries.Teppo designs with empathy for the users, always aiming for the simplest possible solution. He questions and solves business & technical obstacles that hinder the user experience. Teppo's technical background helps him work with agile engineers on the end product — a skill which is essential for producing high-end results. He has graduated as a BA of Media Engineering and MA in New Media (TAIK Medialab), both with high grades.
