A highly motivated and accomplished project manager, producer and print buyer adept at managing multiple projects with time-sensitive deadlines from concept to completion. In my tenure, I have held many positions. In all capacities, I managed a list of 50-80 Chronicle Books, Custom and foreign editions per year, along with Production Department projects.With my production expertise, I partner with designers, editors, authors and customers to help source materials and develop new formats that will provide the desired effect, while keeping quality and budgetary constraints in mind. I have an excellent eye for color and have collaborated with many high profile authors and designers - including Pixar, HBO, Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, Boeing, Tommy Bahama, David Maisel, Andrew Moore as well as Paul McCartney and Bobbi Brown's art directors. I have managed press checks on 11 titles of varying content, in 6 countries.From 2015-present day, I have negotiated 2% savings every year on our foreign titles which ties directly to the company's bottom line. I have focused on fostering relationships with our Print and Prepress partners. This has allowed me to negotiate schedules with tight turns as well as competitive pricing to meet project specific budget needs.On our foreign list, I work closely with publishers in Europe and in Asia to provide files, review their submission and deliver accurate files to our printer.
