Profile bio

About Terann Selman

My name is Terann Selman and I am a first-year student at Bentley University, pursuing a double major in Language, Culture, and Business with Spanish and Management. I am fueled by a passion for supporting small businesses in broadening their opportunities. I am eagerly preparing to dive into a career dedicated to helping entrepreneurs thrive. From navigating challenges to unlocking growth opportunities, I am excited to apply my knowledge, commitment, and enthusiasm to make a positive impact by empowering small businesses. One of my most honored accomplishments is receiving a Seal of Biliteracy in Spanish in high school. I was raised speaking only English in my home and at my school, I was the only non-native speaker in my year, receiving such honors. I would like to continue applying my love of the Spanish language to my future career. I am interested in finding an internship that would require me to apply my knowledge of Spanish so that I can further my fluency in the language. On campus, I am a Women’s Leadership Program Scholar, part of the Marketing Committee for Coming Full Circle as well as a general body member for the National Association of Black Accountants, La Cultura Latina, and Black United Body.
