I started my healthcare career over 24 years ago as an ED night shift Patient Access Representative. I soon transitioned to working in the Lab Outreach area eventually moving to customer support and information services as a System Analyst. After 2 years, I learned of a teaching position and found an opportunity to educate others about Patient Access workflows. During this time, I developed a close working relationship with the SIEMENS IT Team and was able to expand my technical skills when I was given an opportunity to be a part of the Invision RCO conversion team. This soon landed me a role on the Epic integration project, where I managed the Patient Access Team and provided support as Facility Structure Owner and RTE Analyst. I am currently the Manager of IS Ops Delivery for the entire Revenue Cycle Team, Tenet Heathcare, AL Market.
