Firstly to engage senior NHS managers to internalise the realisation that they can simultaneously both reduce cost and improve the quality of the services they provide in both primary and secondary care.Secondly to teach key members of staff working in providing clinical care that CQI techniques can be easily learnt and then applied to improve the quality of care they provide both at the individual, departmental and organisational. At the same time providing improved quality of care by significantly reducing cost by eliminating waste in the system.
