Internal Systems DeveloperWorking very closely with the Technical Director, we are constantly developing and refining software application used internally to control and track stock. Application development and planning of development takes place while continuing to maintain current software and database on Microsoft SQL ServerIT Manager and DBALead of a small team of IT support staff by taking over escalated tasks where front-line support isn’t able to resolve the issue. Maintenance and support of ERP (SAGE 200 Evolution), with special emphasis on database maintenance tasks, testing new features and updates / upgrades of hardware. Summary of my responsibilities:- Manage and maintain MS SQL Server 2018- Report to Technical Director on any incidents related to database and ERP applications - Liaise with IT support company for issues relating with virtual infrastructure- Create / Maintain database procedures, views and functions as needed by Financial Director and other key stakeholders- Developed and constantly updating internal web-based administration application [based on Python (Flask) API to access database and React (Javascript) frontend.]- Oversight on all IT functions, including acquisitions of new hardware as well as contracting service providers.
