I am currently a student at the University of Ulster completing an undergraduate degree in business whilst being employed in a part time role at Iceland Foods where I work as a retail sales worker. Work experience: My job role within Iceland Foods primarily consists of providing a high sense of customer service whilst ensuring I maintain an adequate degree of accuracy regarding to my responsibility on tills alongside doing stock counts, unloading stock and so forth. My role has enabled me to enrich and expand my skill set and existing knowledge of business environments- which I hope to prove beneficial when reaching my career aspirations. Career Aspirations:I am hoping to successfully gain a career in either Accountancy or within the field of Marketing once I complete my undergraduate degree in 2026.Education:I have obtained 10 GCSEs, 3 A Levels, and I am now on the pursuit of completing my undergraduate degree in the field of business.Skills, Accomplishments and Interests:I consider myself to have numerical skills, organisational skills, team-working skills, innovation, problem solving, punctuality, good technical abilities, critical thinking, and professionalism alongside a strong work ethic. My primary accomplishments range within my time at secondary school up to the present. I have accomplished gaining the status of prefect within my school community which enabled me to expand on my university application. This role enabled me to accomplish greater leadership skills, effective communication skills (both verbal and written) and a greater sense of independence. I also accomplished gaining offers into my top choice university (University of Ulster) which granted me the opportunity to accomplish a greater understanding and passion for my area of study. Whilst gaining entry into university was challenging, I was able to acknowledge my accomplishment of greater resilience, determination and focus as assets in ensuring I can achieve my goal of gaining a first class honours degree. Strengths:Resilience- I am a determined, hardworking individual who strives in ensuring I can complete my goals successfully regardless of the possible challenges and setbacks that may arise. These aspects are the catalyst of my resilience in accordance to achieving my goals the way I previously planned. Independence- My level of independence is what enables me to get involved in new opportunities which allows me to grow as an individual in the ever changing business world where my career aspirations lie.
