*Work with a core team of engineers, technicians, program managers, suppliers and customers, to produce reliable test equipment and product*Create and provide test procedures to test technicians for validating test equipment and product*Coordinate design and procurement of assembly tooling, fixtures and work aides*Review PCB fab drawings, PCB assembly drawings, and electro-mechanical drawings and provide input to influence new product designs for manufacturability*Initiate and troubleshoot root cause analysis when failures occur*Create and track project schedules with realistic and manageable timelines*Provide supplier management and development support for PCB contract manufacturers, (new supplier assessment, process development, assembly support, source inspection, etc.)*Prepare manufacturing instructions, process specifications and rework instructions for electronic assemblies*Perform shock and vibration environmental testing*Perform extensive hands-on testing with lab equipment and test fixtures*Create and modify test equipment standard work packages

● Develop procedures and tools for testing and verification, collaborating with the developers● Work with complex electronic systems and subsystems such as hexapod robots, customized DAQ boxes and pneumatic systems, thermocouples, load cells, etc.● Ensure the equipment is properly tested and certified according to the corresponding procedures● Participate in Route Cause Analysis when failures occur ● Ensure accurate documentation and archive measurement data pertaining to product parameters and process control performance● Manage, mentor and provide direction to engineering technicians● Construct/assemble custom-built in-house test equipment for production and development purposes● Hands-on testing using oscilloscopes, network analyzers, frequency generators and other various lab instruments● Submitting Purchase Requests for required builds, upgrades and new product development and keep accurate inventory
