The organization received recognition as one of Greater Toronto’s Top Employers for 2011 and 2012.• Responsible for the management of all national recruitment and selection activities for the organization.• Developed and implemented a national recruitment strategy to meet the overall hiring needs of the organization. The national recruitment strategy varied by province and took into account many factors including location, target markets, applicant profiles and pool of candidates available. • Established a comprehensive, equitable and metrics driven interview and selection process. Utilized psychometric testing tools and role profiling techniques as part of the due diligence process.• Hands on participation in the candidate assessment process, including conducting behavioural interviews, administering and interpretation of psychometric testing, creating offer letters, conducting reference checks and advising senior management on process protocols, recruitment best practices and legal and equity requirements.• Responsible for hiring entry level to executive level positions in a variety of disciplines, including Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, I.T., Legal and Human Resources.• Scoped and implemented an Applicant Tracking System (Taleo) to increase recruitment workflow, efficiency, tracking and access to metrics. • Developed and executed an organization wide social media recruitment strategy to enhance brand awareness.• Took on additional responsibility as a HR Business Partner for the organization. Provided human resource generalist support to Sales, Operations, Finance, Technology and Marketing groups.
